The big lesson learned

The big lesson I learned was during my middle school year which came and hunted me down in my high school year. And that was my “best friend” and her name was Antoinette Hendrickson. During my middle school years my best friend and I who have a lot of fun and make each other laugh and good shopping on the weekends but then came middle school drama and it always had to be between me and her. All because there was a girl who name was Heaven Jones and she would go back and forth between me and Antoinette ad say how I would talk about her and then tell me how she was talking about me but remind you we was young and when we heard someone was talking about us we would stop talking to each other without asking one other if it was true.

 We both knew that it was childish and really dumb but it was the fact we just didn’t have heart to ask one other if it was true and heaven Jones was basically getting what she want and that was us not talking to each other. And at that point I really didn’t care if she wasn’t my friend or talking to me. Because I wasn’t at school to have friends and plus I had more friend besides her but the different was that was my best friend. Plus at the end of the day I knew she would come back and try to talk to me because her and heaven wasn’t as close as we was heaven was just the trouble maker in are friend ship. Antoinette was the type of friend that would pick anyone over are friendship and to me it was like hey if I knew if it was time to fight or anything she wouldn’t have my back like I would have hers and she probably would ditch me but I tried to see over that because I knew I didn’t need anyone to help me or have my back it was just a though.

I knew at some point me and my best friend Antoinette would end up really stop talking and fighting all because she is very messy and very childish and let small things hurt are relationship. And soon came that day one day in the summer she texted me saying how she heard from a few people how I was talking about her and I told her if you believe that your dumb because I don’t talk to anyone I keep to myself. Then she said we going to fight so be ready because I’m coming up to yourself and we going to fight and I told her come on because I’m not scared of her and all  that’s going to happen is she going t get beat up because she can’t fight. Then when it was after school she came and we fought all because she still o the childish stuff.

 After that day my lesson learned was to very trust females because they would turn on you for the dumbest stuff. And now I stay to myself and I may say hi and bye to females no long conversation because I feel that there no need for that. Some people might think I’m mean but I learned from experience  and I just know that best friend experience is nothing I want to happen again to me

the new world .

  I remember when I enter this new world called junior high school.  When I was told I was going to be attending school from 7:30 to 5:30 I was like what my life is over. When my mom told me that I was like what’s the name of the school and she said KIPP and I was like what in the world/ I never herd of that. Then my mom said you start tomorrow I was like oh my gosh.

    Man the morning sure came fast when I woke up I had to get ready to attend my new school that I wasn’t happy to attend at all, so as I got ready I was just shaking my head because I was just disappointed. My mom walked into my room and was like Infiniti are you ready and I said slow and sadly no not at all then my mom said oh well cheer up and get your stuff and meet me in the car in 5 seconds.

   So as I walk to the car I was praying that this school turn out to be cool after all. So we began to drive to “KIPP” and we arrived to the front gate and it looked like a jail house and I started to cry because I wasn’t happy at all. So my mom said alright get out the car and have a good day and she said girl it will be okay it’s just a school. So as I walk into the gate I seen this mean looking lady and on her name tag it said ms.Singlonton and she looked at me and said hi but she said it as if she didn’t want to be at KIPP either, and I was hoping that she wasn’t my teacher,

          So when I seen there was lines with teachers names on sticks  I was hoping my teacher wasnst that mean teacher and I guess it was just my luck because “Ms.SINGLONTON” was my new teacher, she got  her class and took them up to the class room. And when we got into the class she said we going to have a test but first she will seat us were she want us to sit. I was really hoping my seat wasn’t in the back and she out me in the back. And I was like ms. Can I get a sit in the front and she was like NOOOOOOOOOOO. So after she said that she started to pass out the test and I just new I was to fail because I don’t test well. And when the test was done and she corrected it and she seen I did back she out me into this RSP class and every since then I had RSp but now i am smarter and get all A’s and clearly don’t need RSP.

The time the USC student was here I learned about Native Americans and many things I never ever knew. For example Native Americans came here from Meinsine Corrider Alaska they came looking for food and tools and weapons. Did you know women were the first homos then 40 years later came men? The species they talked about was organism that can inter breed and reproduce fertile offspring.

Native American women was the people with all the power, the men would go hunting for food. The women were basically the leaders and the women had the homes and the men would move into the women homes. And of the women and men would get a divorce the women would kick them out and the men would take what they did own and leave and the kids would stay with there mothers. The women were in charge of all the food the women had the most power.

            Do you know what a gin block is? Well a gin black is a young boy would get everything he wants. A grown man would ask the young boy do he want a gift and the young would say yes the young boy would get a gift and more then that from the men. Then more men would ask the boy do he want another gift and he say yes and he would get more gifts and other stuff, the boy was young so he didn’t know what was going on. All he knew was he was getting "GIFTS".

            Native Americans would use Clovis points to kill animals from far and to kill smaller animals. And they would kill bigger animals with arrowheads and also for closer distances. Native Americans were very creative they made this wall were they would build in the river and make a wall with rocks and leave a open so the fishes could go in and the water could come in and out without the fishes going out .I also learned about Cherokee and how they promised to prevent white settlers from invading Indian land and also promised to pay Indians debts. Well I thank the USC student for coming to west Adams to teach me many new things =)

Whats is an american ?

“What is an American?”

American I am I was born in an America so was my mom and father. I have lived in America my whole life and know nothing different. I am not your typically American with blond hair green eyes American. I am one of your brown skin brown hair brown eyes American.      

          I might have a different background from your typically American. I have a background of Belizean culture but don’t get me wrong I am your American. I might speak different language beside English but I am American. I am your American citizen nothing less. I am American I have a descent of Central American.

          American is when someone in your family has fought for there country like my grandfather he was in world war2. American is when you pay your taxes no matter what. American is when you know the meaning of your flag colors. I am a American so ill tell you what’s the meaning of the colors on the flag, the red stands for seal and transferred white stands for purity blue stands for the chief and perseverance and the gold fringe on the flag is used only on indoor flags and neither approved nor disapproved by an act of congress or executive order. An American is anyone who loves life enough to want the best that it has to offer. Americans are not automatically satisfied with their current situation. An American is a person who celebrates July 4^th the day of declaration of independence.

          An American is a Christian or can be Jewish, Buddhist or Muslim. An American is from most of the prosperous land in the history of the world. An American has helped out just about every one on there time when needed. An American is a person who gives when its there last dime because they no they will get it back some way. An American is a person who loves its country and who stands up for its country rights. An American says the pledge of allegiance. An American follows America rule. An American is a person who respects America property no matter what and also votes.

          The follow information I have stated is showing what is an American and showing how many steps on how you can become a true American if not already.
